Happy Friday! Rachel and I both read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell a few days ago, and loved it. Highlight of my week. What did you read that was amazing?
This week on Common Novel Rachel discussed the treatment of sex in young adult novels, we listed our top ten favorite literary mean girls, and I hated on Loretta Chase’s Vixen in Velvet. Our Date Night this week was designed around the German romantic dramedy Mostly Martha.
On to the internets!

It was another exciting week for Harry Potter fans! J.K. Rowling posted a short story checking in with our favorite witches and wizards as they enter their mid-thirties. According to Rowling’s spokesperson, there are no plans to write more stories checking in with the adult Harry.

And now it’s time for the weekend! Rachel and I are both reading from the ARC pile this weekend, so look for upcoming reviews of Julie Garwood’s Fast Track (coming out at the end of this month) and Joe Abercrombie’s Half a King (coming out July 15). What will you be reading?
