I'd describe Bianca Piper's look as 90's grunge mixed with modern hair and make-up sensibilities. There's a lot of overalls happening in her look--I mean, she has both pant and short overalls. There's also a lot of flannel. But, the good news is that you can easily look exactly like Bianca if you're willing to wear overalls and tie a flannel shirt around your waist. I'm not.
Easy. Except, I don't really own flannel. But you know who does own flannel? Just about every dude in the universe. So I called up my local dude, and sure enough, he had two flannel shirts. Unfortunately, one was so big the only reasonable way it could be worn was tied around my waist...
But the other one was only acceptably big, so I was able to pair it with denim and tie it at the waist, which I feel hits upon all the right Bianca Piper notes. The third outfit I pieced together involved a red and black plaid dress and a weird denim shirt that I've never had occasion to wear. Honestly, I wouldn't call any of these looks super flattering, but I also wouldn't call Bianca Piper's look super flattering, so I guess that's okay.
You may think the point of this is just to dress like our favorite characters, but while we do that we also have to be true to ourselves. We dress up like our favorite characters to make ourselves happy, so if something about the outfit doesn't make you happy, don't wear it. In my case, that means I'm wearing the outfit that least resembles anything Bianca actually wore. But let's be real, she probably would wear this, given the option.
